Ok. An update!
I’m sitting at work listening to Army on my iPod. It’s taking everything in me not to bounce around in my chair. I love this song.
Been thinking a lot today… been thinking a lot today… think I’ll write a screenplay… think I’ll take it to L.A…. think I’ll get it done yesterday…. awwww shit!
So, anyway. I’m in for a busy, busy few days. It’s good busy, though. Lots of out-of-town visitors. Erich arrived last night, and Jason and Laurie will be here on Friday. Special Olympics Summer Games are also this weekend. Lucky for me, my guests are very good sports and have no problem spending some time w/ me and about 2,000 Special Olympians this weekend.
While hanging out w/ Erich last night I realized how thankful I am to have a good relationship w/ my best friend’s husband. (oh yeah, Erich is Kristen’s hubby) He’s a very, very nice man and Kristen’s lucky to have him. I also happen to think Erich is lucky to have her! They balance each other out.
I’m super-duper excited about Jason’s visit! Eeeeeeee! I haven’t seen him in over a year. Can you believe that? Over a freaking year!! That’s way, way, way too long. Every time I see him I’m surprised at his size. I guess I still picture him as scrawny little Jase in my head. But that’s not what he is anymore! He’s a monster. In a good way, though. He’s also Satan as his birthday falls on 666 this year – LOL.
I don’t think I’ve written in here since I moved… I love my little apartment. I think it’s cute and cozy. Although I miss having the built-in social life I had while living w/ Shel, I’m a pretty happy camper.
Hmmm… what else? Gregory graduated from basic training! Yay! I went to Fort Jackson, SC, w/ my parents for all the hoopla and it was great. Gregory’s really happy and he looks great; very tan and healthy. He’s made some good friends including a teddy bear-like creature from Hawaii. I was w/ Gregory and the ‘rents last weekend and will be w/ Jason this weekend. I’m very happy to have some family time. I love them and miss them so much.
Now Coldplay’s blaring in my ears. This song, although good, isn’t bounce-worthy the way Army is.
Green eyes, you’re the one that I wanted to fiiiiiiiiiinnnnnddddd…
Alright. Time to review the annual report. Deeeep breath.
